Main library in LaGrange with branches at Topeka and Shipshewana, and a bookmobile that runs the county.

The fair, held in July.
- LaGrange County Soil and Water Conservation District
Cost-share programmes for fencing and septic repair, stormwater plan review, pasture walks. The board meets on the fourth Tuesday.
- LaGrange County Lakes Council
Networks the county's lake associations, and lists which lakes have an association with a web presence and which do not.
- Ark Animal Rescue and Adoption
The county's no-kill animal shelter since 2006, funded in part by the Paws and Claws bookstore in Howe.
- Menno-Hof
The Amish and Mennonite interpretive centre in Shipshewana.
- LaGrange Standard and News
The county's weekly newspaper.

Fire departments
Seven volunteer fire departments serve this county: Howe, Johnson Township at Wolcottville, LaGrange, Mongo, Shipshewana, Stroh and Topeka. The Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association publishes their addresses.

The LaGrange County Historical Society keeps a museum at High and Lafayette in LaGrange and is run by about twenty volunteers. Its website does not currently respond and its only other presence is a Facebook group. It is the body in this county closest to what the Gazette does, and this page cannot link it.
Others the county's own resource directory names without an address: LaGrange Communities Youth Centers, AGAPE Missions, the LaGrange County Clothes and Food Basket, Crushed but Not Broken, Compassion Pregnancy Center, Habitat for Humanity, and Impact Institute.
