Public documents, read. Each entry is a document filed by a unit of government or a state or federal agency, taken from the body that filed it.
What this section publishes
What a public body filed: a notice, a budget, an agenda, a permit, a decision. Every entry names the body, the date it filed the document and the date we read it, and links to the document itself, so you can read what we read.
Figures are given as they were filed, with what kind of figure each one is. Every entry also says what the document does not contain that you might expect it to.
The Record does not publish news, anyone's account of a document, or what a body intends. It does not name anyone charged with, arrested for or suspected of a crime.
This section is held to the standard stated here, which is not the archive's standard. An archive piece tests one question against many documents over weeks. An entry here reports one document, accurately, and links to it.
When an entry is wrong we correct it in a dated block. When a filing is superseded we add a dated update citing the new filing. Both stay on the entry.
